I'm doing a project where I try to capture the character and beauty of old things, and one of my favorite subjects is old dogs. This is Bear. He is 12 (84 in people years) and was rescued in December by our neighbor Carol. She likes old dogs because while they are pretty set in their ways (something about old dogs and new tricks) they are done with the puppy years and make good companions.
