this is a 1960's plastic model kkit made by Aurora.
The scale is 1/24. The original cost was $.79.
In the mid to late 60's i bought several of the
Aurora old car kits. This model is at least 50 years old.
I looked on eBay for this kit and didn't find one the 1931
Miller made by Aurora has an asking bid of $25.00 and it is
missing one wheel.

The Chevrolet Brothers and the Monroe Frontenac.

Gaston and Louis Chevrolet brothers wee the founders of the Chevrolet car
company that were bought out by what became General Motors.

In 1916 the Chevrolet Brother founded the Frontenac Motor Corporation.
You may have heard of the Fronty Ford which was one of their projects.
Around 1919 the Monroe car company hired the Chevrolet Brothesr to run
the Monroe Racing Team.
in the 1920 Indy 500 race Gaston drove the Monroe Frontenac
to a strong win at at the time an impressive 86.63 mph average speed.
Later that year Gaston was killed ina racing accident at the Beverly Hills Speedway.
