Driving the Iowa back roads during the winter months you can see the Iowa fields at rest. They lay bare, waiting for the coming spring when the large tractors will take to the field to begin the annual planting activity. Only then will these fields begin their work to produce what the farmer has chosen to plant for the year in an effort to help mankind survive.
