Christmas day 2007 and driving the countryside I cross the Middle Nodaway River that I spent a lot of my childhood time fishing. I have dropped my fishing pole in this river and one winter day while shooting off cherry bombs left over from the 4th, the ice cracked and I went in. A very cold and wet walk home.
