Today was the big focus and lens experiment. After church we came back home and set up the tripod for some photographs. After spending some quality time with the T5i manual, I was ready to have a go at it. There were a number of changes that were made to the set up, particularly using face recognition focus with active view. That was a new one for me with an SLR. So after Ginny changed her clothes, fixed her hair and refreshed her make up, we took some photos with the T5i and the 24-105 lens.
Naturally, I was excited to have a look at what we got on the computer so I went straight upstairs and downloaded the frames. It was a difference of night and day. Today's photos were nice and sharp while Fridays photos were clearly out of focus. Looks like we finally have this one down. Today's photo is a comparison before (top) and after changing lenses and procedures. Quite a difference!
