dredging

crisis in the pond again, finally being addressed by the city parks board...too many plants, and debilitating hot summer weather have proved problematic...hopefully yet more dredging will be enough to restore the valuable wetlands here

Great to see the city taking advantage of the dry spell to get this area under control. I'm sure it won't be long before the water levels are replenished.

Here the problem the pond has shows well. Too shallow and too much plant life. Hopefully this boost by humans will bring it back to life.
