Guess who?

In case you’ve not noticed, David is giving a big clue…

Yep, it’s my daddy who has reached the ripe old age. He is telling everyone about it and appending the news with a “guess how long I’ve been married?” The answer to the question is 59 years, only one more to go to get that message from the queen. (Why he wants it is beyond me but there you go. Each to his own.)

My sister, her hubby and eldest son are here to help dad celebrate, the other son being indisposed on a hillside somewhere doing a Duke Of Edinburgh award…again, why he wants it is beyond me but each to his own. The poor pub had to put up with lots of silliness, three veggies and someone who is allergic to almost all food but they delivered a lovely meal despite these challenges.


A jolly good time was had by all.
