We are out of the ground – our new kitchen is properly in progress now! So why the chicken? Well, she was climbing on a pile of sub-soil to gain access to some weeds in the top of a plant pot and I thought she’d make a better main subject than a line of bricks.
It’s rather strange that the chickens have featured so strongly in this thing. I suppose it’s their new-found proximity to the house that means I see them looking cute rather more often than I’d thought. I’ll bet you don’t know many people who have their pet hens in their wedding photos do you? No, I rather thought not! Not these ones, but we do have several shots of our speeches with chickens strutting around in the background. He he.
