Luna moth (Actias luna), #7758

Reveler Conservation Area

Two of these beauties came to the moth lights last night at the Conservation Area. This one was far bigger than the second one (both were males), and was much bigger than my hand. It is amazing to think that such an exotic looking creature should live in our northerly woods.
