Thanks. It was a bit of a challenge. These carpenter bees tend to hover a bit, then they move, sometimes close, sometimes flying quite far away. This was hand held, and manual focus. This was too small to use auto ficus, and the background was cluttered. Obviously, I threw away a lot of shots. You just need to stand in one place near the wood they like, have a lot of patience, and keep shooting.

How did you do this?!? Amazing and at 250/sec...f8 pretty good, I would have thought higher...but great work by you.
