While on a business trip in Tampa, FL I decided to check another Irish Pub type venue, which had a Reuben on their menu. The $11 Reuben was served sliced in two, with a pickle spear and thick sliced potato chips. The rye bread was more towards the traditional pumpernickel rye, and was cooked with the right amount of crispiness and only a slight sogginess on the bottom, BUT the crust edges were on the hard side and I felt distracted from my culinary experience. The corned beef was tender, but not overly moist, and the sandwich could have used more of it, as well as some more Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and their “Emerald Isle dressing. A decent sandwich, but nothing really outstanding- I would give it a solid “C”.
