I decided to drive the 11 miles across town on my ’83 Goldwing to try out a Reuben that came highly recommended by the owner of a local microbrewery, Buttons……
The $12.50 Reuben came with fries, but no pickle spear. The corned beef was moist and tender- if not the best I have had, one of the best. While there was an adequate amount of it overall, on ˝ of the sandwich there could have been just a little more corned beef. They make their own thousand island dressing, which was excellent and applied in just the right amount. There could have been just a tad more sauerkraut. The ryebread was great- just a wee bit of crunch on the top, but the bottoms were just a bit soggy, but not nearly as much as the 777 Reuben in Los Vegas. The fries were very good, and I was filled up after the meal. I am giving it a grade of an A-, and highly recommend it!
