Ginny was traveling back from Oregon today. It is lucky that she could book a direct flight. One of the web sites I like is flightaware.com. If you have never used it you should check it out. It is easy to see the actual status of the flight because it lifts data off Air Traffic Control and shows you what is happening. Forget the airlines, they are never timely. One of the feature I like is you can look at the inbound flight which will bring the airplane for your flight. Very Interesting. You can see exactly what is going on. It helps me decide what time to head out to the airport. Houston Intercontinental is about 45 miles from our house so it is good to know when to get there. Often Ginny calls while I am still en route. That is fine because I get there before she emerges with all her luggage. Today I show a screen shot from flight aware.
