The Renault 4 or R4 is a car that was produced between 1961 and 1994 by the French car manufacturer
Renault. It is the first front-wheel drive passenger car from Renault. In France it is called
the 4L (pronounced "Quatrelle" or "Quatre ailes", which means "four wings").
