New Years Day and traditionally I spend time in the kitchen cooking for the family.
I love cooking but don't do enough of it, Christmas is the one time of the year I am guaranteed to be spending time in the kitchen.
Pastry coming to room temperature for mince pies and sausage rolls, ham boling, sausagemeat binding in the bowl with medlar jelly, sage and haggis for the sausage rolls and scotch eggs.
