I picked a good afternoon for trying out some newly-acquired Ebay bargains: a Nikon D700 (have
wanted to own one for years), 50mm prime and a circular polarising filter. I know one has to be
cautious on Ebay, but the guy I bought from seems to have looked after the camera immaculately.
Still a bit of ice on the lake this afternoon - glad I'm not a duck, that water must be bitterly cold!
