We knew Forester Pass was north of our campsite, but we weren't sure where the trail went. We asked the hikers that had descended from the pass and they pointed out the route. The small notch in the middle of the mountains near the center of the picture is the pass and the trail ascends to the right of it. Every time we look ahead to our route it always seems impossible that a trail is there. Looks pretty impressive from this vantage point!
