You have caught the right moment in the bird's lift off. The wings, individual feathers and beak all carry the forward movement.
The background detracts from my enjoyment of the image. It takes up nearly half the image with unattractive, busy grasses
and it is full of distracting highlights. Using F14 means that you will get sharpness pretty much from front to back of the image.
In this case, that is a disadvantage. A more wide open aperture would have helped to blur the background, making it less intrusive.
You could see if turning this into a monochrome image and actively toning down the background (the old burning in) would reduce its impact.
