Yellow-billed Cuckoo

Warrenton, Virginia

Over the past several years, I've been observing one or two of these beautiful cuckoos end-of-August thru mid-September. They stay fairly high in our black willow and black chestnut trees and hawk cicadas and tent caterpillers.
