King Kong in context

This is the kind of thing one finds everywhere in Pigeon Forge, although this particular building, located on the parkway in the middle of town, towers over the rest of them. It seemed that every place had to have an outrageous “theme” to attract customers, which I guess is successful since the town is a huge tourist attraction in the South.

What I think makes this place so unique is how it contrasts with Smoking Mountain National Park. Nicely photographed and no doubt a unique place to visit. I think I am getting old but I prefer the park and nature's beauty and quiet especially when not there on a weekend. Still great shots Helen. V
