a broken wing is one of the perils of being a butterfly - maybe caused by prickly bushes or even an attempted predidation. I saw it fly away quite confidently.

Awwww ~ poor little thing! I've seen monarch butterfly wings repaired. Too bad this one probably won't have the same opportunity. Beautiful image Ray! V
