Breeding Male

This photograph was taken on
World Giraffe Day at Dubbo Zoo.
One can pay $7 extra to feed the giraffes.
I wish I had done it. They curled their beautiful blue
tongues around the carrots very carefully before gently removing them from the hand offering the food.

Thanks, Hal. He was getting his tongue ready to eat some carrots, hence the tongue at the ready.
I just pointed my camera up. I have another one, with much more neck.
