Eastern Whip-poor-will - Antrostomus vociferus

Dunstable, Ma.

My wife found this bird when she accidentally flushed it and noticed 2 eggs on the ground where she flew from. A short while later I was able to get there and see the Whip-poor-will on the nest again.

WOW!! Now that is a real find. On the nest I am guessing? Not often one finds this and definitely not easy to find either. Excellent shot of this beautiful bird. VV
