Another in this small series of sculptures by Taiwanese artist Hung Yi, this one executed in 2015. The plaque with it reads:

"The brave eagle and the peaceful pigeon stand on the back of a Taiwanese water buffalo. The eagle … spreading its wings, symbolizing the American Dream; the pigeon … encouraging peaceful coexistence between all races; the buffalo, representing the artist’s efforts and hard work that led him to show his work on the international stage. … He created this piece specifically for his first American exhibition in San Francisco, using two iconic American animals, yet applying his own artistic Taiwanese spin."

NOTE: I never saw a pigeon, and I still can’t find one in my pictures. If anybody sees one, please let me know! Tim thinks maybe it's on the back of the eagle's head, but I don't see it there, either.
