Imaged from BeckwithTownship, Ontario
A friend and I were shooting DSOs; and for over an hour we were entertained by the Aurora.
We wrapped up our DSO shooting sometime after midnight and raced home to pick up full frame DSLR bodies and wide angle lenses.
I should have brought something wider than 24mm (I liked my friend's shots at 16mm); but the lens I used; a Sigma Art 24-35mm F/2; worked well enough, I think.
24mm; 10 seconds; f/2.0; ISO 1600; Nikon D810; Sigma Art 24-35mm f/2 lens.
The streak on the left was the final seconds of a very bright meteorite.
Photographing the Aurora Borealis was on my "bucket list"; so I guess I can scratch that one off.
