For the third straight year, an E. Screech Owl has occupied this tree in the Springtime. If past years are any indication, it will move to another (predictable) location within a few weeks.

Shortly after this image was taken, a Cooper's Hawk flew overhead. Even before the hawk arrived, the little owl became agitated; and dropped out of sight. Great hearing…..
