the angry clouds of two days ago delivered yesterday on their inherent threat...heavy rainfall and blustery winds made conditions fierce...with the car at the mechanic's garage (to deal with water seeping into the interior!!) several walks outside meant getting soaked...by mid-afternoon was in my third pair of trousers, with the first two drying out on the shower curtain railing...went through a few pots of tea as well

several friends have noted the gnarled trees...they are Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia)
