Nice capture with your nifty little TG-3. Given the housing prices in your area, going up seems to be the only way to make things work.

Very nice architectural photo. Placing the building against that dramatic sky and the bright sunlight in the foreground is really nice. Vote.

So true back in the day you would know all your neighbors in the street...In Sweden they are much more reserved than in England...So happy my English Pbase friend Ruth moved in over the road five years ago...Lovely image of the apartments David...BV

Perhaps people live TOO close !!! You'll get to know your neighbours in our neck of the woods especially when it's either drive 150 kms or borrow a cup of sugar :)

I agree. I don't even no their names. The picture conveys a strong sense of isolation and foreboding. V

So true, but maybe they get to see each other in the elevator. I like the reflections in the windows.

Interesting shot. Apartment life has its advantages and disadvantages. One I liked was being able to leave for long periods of time without worrying about the garden, etc.

So near and yet so far apart.

Excellent take, David!

I agree, and that's so sad, although I think it's easier here than in a situation like that.

Another great high drama shot! ~V~
