Another very good looking X-500, now equipped with the Minolta 28-85mm. A fine and versatile zoom. The X-500 shows the selected shutter speed in the viewfinder, the biggest advantage compared to the X-700. It also lost one capacitor (no MPS present) and capacitors tend to malfunction on, mostly, X-700's.
If you like to shoot in A-priority, you can just pick up any Minolta SLR, even older XG's. If you want a complete M-mode, you end up with the XD5/7 and X-500.
