Now, Snowcoaches frequently use large low pressure tires instead of tracks to cross snowy roads in the park. They work well on both snow and bare pavement, get much better mileage, and have less maintenance than tracked vehicles. However, when encountering big wind blown drifts, tracks can still work better.
