Another example of doing a self-merge to HDR. This one came out looking grainier than I would like but the food platter lost none of its clarity. We had had lunch at a café in Rome the previous day, but that was in a tourist trap area (though the cafe itself was okay and not obscenely overpriced) but this was the first time we had lunch at in the Italian heartland where there was a limited amount of English language available. (One of the staff did speak very good English but I didn't meet her until later.)
Fortunately my Italian was sufficient to order us a platter of cold meats and other treats. We decided on having only a light lunch because we had pre-booked a Tuscan farmhouse dinner that evening. (This was a very good call because the Tuscan dinner ran to about six courses, if I remember correctly.)
I would go here again, but it would have been nice to be able to go without one eye on the clock, being conscious of the amount of time that we had before we had to get back to the bus.
