Yes, we love the use of stone in South Australia, really lends the state's architecture a distinctive style. This looks like a lovely estate to explore.

I love that old stonework. I would probably like to see more of it but the garden is very pretty. Nice composition.

I've found that the stonework construction in houses like that make for very effective insulation, especially in hot climates. (Which in this country is "pretty much anywhere north of Macquarie island" for the next 6 months or so.) The layer of plants around probably does no harm either.
