Twisty

Valley of Fire State Park, Clark County, Nevada

A good example of why I like to ride a motorcycle through Valley of Fire State Park.
This shot is from my return from a hike out to a remote area I scoped out from my last trip here with the boys.

Below is another video taken from a couple of rides through Valley of Fire (best quality in HD 1080p or 720p).
Come take a ride with me and my shadow:

Canon Powershot G12
1/250s f/8.0 at 13.8mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

This does remind me of the Palouse (well the road) - but if you haven't gone, you need to go - early spring or fall, or winter.

A fabulous photograph of the winding road through the valley.

Nice; it's a leading line, but not as we know it.

superior still image, and such an enthralling video, rife with a sense of speed, freedom, and adventure...love the morphing shadow too, ranging from Easy Rider to Tartar warrior... Sam, do you have a sidecar for the bike, .and tolerance for a ride-along?...V
