A 2nd image for September as I had 2 very strong favorites.
This was taken in Buffalo at the site of some abandoned grain elevators in an area called the "White Room" as it has windows and clean concrete that during the day bathe the room in soft light.
This image was taken before dawn when it was dark, so all of the surfaces (the funnels and chutes of the silo, the concrete floor and pillars) were lightpainted.
For the developing I converted all of the images lightpainting concrete surfaces to black and white and left those lightpainting the metal surfaces of the silo in colour ... hence the title.
