Boys wait for their next volleyball game to commence as dusk is not too far away in the village of Andarbarg.
About 6,000 people live in Yazgulom, in five different villages. Their language, Yazgulomi, is spoken nowhere else. Yazgulom's residents are Pamiri. The vast majority of Pamiris are Ismaili, but by contrast Yazgulomis practice the Sunni branch of Islam.
