Larose Forest

These larvae eat the seeds of the native evening primrose plant (Oenethera biennis). Here, you can see this well camouflaged caterpillar (looks just like the seedpods of the plant) has its head in the top of a pod, eating seeds. To see the moth this will become, see previous.
