Slow Sailing

A little over a month ago I began my journey reading the novel Moby Dick once again.
My journey has been rich and slow and punctuated by digressions consulting my Melville Biographies and reference works about him and whaling.
I even read a book on the Whaling Ship Charles W. Morgan.
I find the journey is more enjoyable and more memorable when taken slowly.

Great shot Walter, beautiful. When I read a story, a book, I simply read it for what it is and not search the high and lows of it all ... I understand the fiction of it. And ... I think I'd enjoy reading Moby Dick again, noted.
