Spear-marked and White-banded Black Moths (Complex Rheumaptera hastata)

Larose Forest

Looking very butterfly-like, this is a moth in the Geometridae (or inchworm) family. It is apparently very difficult to separate out the several species in this genus (R.hastata and R. subhastata), so although this looks like the photos of Spear-marked Black moth that I've seen, I'll leave it as Genus only.
