I've been watching and watching for these baby fawns to make an appearance again (I saw them once with no camera in hand).
I peeked by this hedge as we were driving up to our house today, and there was the one little fawn.
I jumped out of the car with my camera,before my husband even parked, and grabbed a couple of shots.
Then a dog started barking from that house's backyard. One fawn took off, another came out of the backyard running,
and then mom deer came running out too - across the street and away up the wooded hill and out of sight.
I was happy to have captured one fawn in all the fleeting action.
