Leiper's Fork, TN

Leaper's Fork, TN

I have been very busy writing my term paper for the last couple of weeks, and have not posted. Paper done, and a number of images from my paying gig to show, but I was going some back-ups from October and came across a cache of autumn images which I had forgotten to adjust contrast for...
This is one of those, after a morning of rain, and then clearing, in a small town south of Franklin, TN. Very much stopped-down to get the cloud detail, as I recall...

Elaine: Thank you for the kind words. You nailed my thinking about the composition. Term paper is for a course at Dallas Theological Seminary...I am a student again...

Wonderful image, Michael.
Beautiful colors, wonderful sky,
and a composition that keeps the viewer's eyes moving.
All the ingredients of a top-class composition.

Dear Michael,
I love the way the road leads the viewer's eye into the drama of the clouds.
The autumnal tones of the middle distance are a perfect contrast to the bright green grass.
What is the term paper? Good luck with that.
