The Making of a 'Saturated Moon' Step 5: Final Saturated Full Moon

William Optics Megrez 90, f/6.9 with 4x Powermate (FL 2,484mm approx.)
Losmandy AZ-8 mount
Hutech Modified Canon 40D
1 x 1/100 second exposure (chosen from 80 frames) @ ISO 250
Processed in:
PIPP (Planetary Imaging PreProcessor) for image quality ranking
Registax V6 for wavelet sharpening & Photoshop for further processing (see below).

Yes, the moon does have colour; albeit very subtle. Here the colour saturation is increased to enhance these moon colours, which give an indication of the moon's mineralogy. A touch of Vibrance, Curves and Levels have also been applied.
