1994 Guild DV-72MK NT (malachite)

This Henkogram of my '94 DV-72MK shows the one piece sound hole reinforcement plate
surrounding the soundhole between the transverse brace and the X-braces. I first
noticed this pattern of bracing on my 1992 D-55, but it was used at least as early as
1984 (on a D-15). The upper bout bracing is the standard "post-1974" pattern with
neck block extension and wing braces.

The positions of braces and tone bars in the lower bout are somewhat more similar to
my '72 D-35 (is this part of the "Vintage" bracing pattern?). The maple bridge plate
appears smaller than that in my D-35 (hard to tell if it smaller than that in my D-50).

The run-out in the bookmatched top seems to cause a slight disjunction in the appearance of
the brace shadows across the center line, probably a light piping effect from the woods
grain. Eight lights were used for this pic... should have added another in the lower bout.
