This is a childhood name for these rather ugly creatures/plants/whatever. They are terminablely ugly, reminding me of lumps of dog turd, but they are3 alot of fun. If you squeeze them, they squirt water for about 30 centimetres if you're lucky. When we were there, waves were coming over the area and these things were periodically squirting excess water out, on their own. Plant/ animal? Sponge? I don't know.
