Starfish and well, something which looks like coral. This area had quite a few different colours of starfish. Since this place is at the edge of a quite populous suburb, I am surprised at the variety which remains. Maybe it is because it is protected by being in the intertidal zone which isn't exposed for very long. I got nailed by some unexpected waves and had to simply wait while the wave poured around my knees, then ebbed.
