The island of Bygdøy is home to one of the city’s most exclusive residential areas as well as a number of museums that collectively reflect Norway’s cultural history and national life.
I thought I had finished this gallery, but found a few pictures (this and the previous one) from the Norsk Folkemuseum that I had intended to post after the church, but just forgot.
This is the parsonage from Leikanger in Sogn, built for the vicar in 1752. The gardens illustrate two main styles in the European gardening tradition, European Renaissance and English.
Anyway, the gallery is finally done. Thanks for the interest and comments, but now back to Oslo!
