In 1964 I traded my 1961 Simca Aronde for a new, grey bodies, white roofed 1964 EH Holden through the Holden dealership in Wagga Wagga, NSW. The EH was a wonderful vehicle, reliable, strong, powerful for its time, complete with heater and car radio. I even attached a fox tail to the radio aerial. Unlike my friends, I resisted the urge to fit a Weber downdraft carburettor to my manual gearbox pride and joy.
