Built for 460 000 marks during one winter of 1903/1904, designed by Paul Puchmüller and Heinrich Dunkel with a distinctive "fairy castle-style" tower.
Above the main portal there is a sculpture by Fenzloff depicting a mermaid, a triton and the coat of arms of the city.
Today this beautiful building is a Rheumatological Hospital.
