Pictured on the 142Filo- flightline in August 1989, F-104G 7051/4-051 is in the process of being prepared for a life after active service. Engine and ejection seat have been removed on the line itself, so it seems. Note the 'Canadian nose' with unusual black radome and not matching camouflage.

ex-Lw 21+82. First flight 22 January 1963. To Turkey on 9 May 1984 with 3.593 hours. Retired at Mürted in 1989. Became a gate guard at Akinci, formerly known as Mürted and is still to be found at the gate of this airbase.
