Old Family Keepsake

Warsaw, Poland

This old silvering box, probably a sugar-bowl, in our family has been always used as a jewelry box. My grandmother brought it with her while escaping with children from Polish town Lvov in 1944, when the Soviets entered (now Lviv in Ukraine).
