Judges Comments

This is an image that will probably have wide appeal whether entered in nature or open competitions. It has "cute" subject matter and it has been captured and processed very well. The nature story is obvious and strong - the wallaby on the right is concentrating hard on the grooming and one on the left is obviously enjoying it. The tight cropping emphasises the story and eliminates any possible distractions. There is very good detail throughout the image and, most importantly, the processing has retained the natural appearance of the fur. This is an image that deserves to be entered in competitions beyond club level. MERIT
